At this time of year, we give thanks to God for friends and family, food on the table, all things Norman Rockwell. It is an especially poignant time for us to thank folks who serve – military, nurses, law enforcement, care-givers, pretty much anyone you see (yes – even politicians).
I want to take a moment to thank these particular people. They’ve all mentored and taught me in one way or another.

Hello Mr. Curry, thanks for your beautiful music. Our chancel choir has created a Cantata for Easter Sunday using their favorite Hymns. One of the hymns is “Sweet Rivers of Mercy”. They have asked me to write a script that will draw the music together. I am using theology and the stories behind the hymns. I have looked for the history or story which led to your writing of this beautiful piece, but have been unable to find anything. Would you be willing to share with me your inspiration. Thank you very much for your consideration.
